TUESDAYS are our regular pickup days.  Barring extreme weather, we will be out cleaning our city every week from 4-6pm (in summer), followed by our famous Happy Hour!

 What WE Do:

  • Pick a site and ORGANIZE pickup

  • Do a sweep with the Colorado Springs HOT team prior to volunteer arrival

  • Provide SAFETY EQUIPMENT, including long-armed pickers, gloves, ringed trash bags, whistles, vests, sharps disposals cans and more...

  • Provide INSURANCE for all volunteers

  • MONITOR pickup and handle needle disposal

  • Coordinate trash COLLECTION with the city for the end of the shift

  • Set up FREE Happy Hour with a local business!

     

What YOU Do:

  • Fill out the FORMS below

  • RSVP for a specific pickup here on our website. (We need to account for everyone and plan happy hour.)

  • DRESS to get dirty!  Hats, sunscreen, and closed-toe shoes!

  • SHOW UP! And sign-in.

  • Find your BUDDY.

  • Go to TOWN on that trash!

  • GATHER collected trash to the agreed pickup point at the end of the shift.

  • Please join us for Happy Hour, and RELAX after a good deed done!

Weather Permitting...
We will cancel pickups if:

  • it is above 90 degrees

  • it is below 35 degrees

  • there's a 50% + chance of rain or snow

Alternatively...

If we know ahead that we need to cancel, we'll try to organize another event or discussion of community issues.
