UCCS, Pike Peak College, and Fountain Creek Watershed join Richards Rubbish Roundup to clean Monument Valley Park and attend a Seed Bomb Class. This is a student pickup only. If you would like to volunteer for managing the student pickup, please sign up and let me know!

About the event
We will have a pickup at Monument Valley Park with a collaboration of UCCS, Pike Peak College and Fountain Creek Watershed.
Join us for an unforgettable Alternative Spring Break Activity with Richards Rubbish Roundup on March 24, 2026, from 3 to 6 PM! This is a unique chance to help your community while enjoying nature with friends.
* Start the afternoon with our fun Seed Bomb making Class at 3:00 PM at Poor Richards Restaurant. You’ll learn to make eco-friendly seed bombs with the Fountain Creek Watershed District to boost local biodiversity.
* At 4:30 PM -, we’ll walk to Monument Valley Park and toss our seed bombs into Monument Creek, making the area greener.
After we distribute our Seed Bombs, we will do a pickup nearby at the park and walk back to Poor Richards to celebrate with pizza and drinks!
