Sun Day! Join us as we organize a powerful climate movement 09/20/25 10am-2pm

Richards Rubbish Roundup will join several local environmental groups to set up tables in front of Poor Richards on the sidewalk. The event will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, September 20th. These groups will bring many supporters, and we hope to attract even more people since the following day, September 21st, is an official National event called Sun Day. On this day, many others across the country will be hosting similar events or demonstrations to advocate for more funding for wind and solar energy, particularly as funding cuts are anticipated.

Sun Day is a day of action celebrating the power of clean energy. The clean energy revolution is here, and solar, wind, and batteries are now the cheapest forms of power on the planet. They lower costs, create new jobs, and strengthen our communities. However, some politicians and industries are attempting to hinder this progress.
