About the event
For many visitors, their first impression of Colorado Springs is less than appealing. When they arrive at the bus stop, one of the first things they notice is the accumulation of garbage. Drivers heading toward downtown also get a negative impression as they pass under I-25, where litter is visible along the road. Fountain Creek is the main waterway fed by Monument Creek and Cheyenne Creek. It generally runs parallel to I-25 through Colorado Springs, eventually joining the Arkansas River in Pueblo.
